My mum has 3 free GV tickets to tmr's Harry Potter 6th Movie! YIPPEEEE!!!! She works in a travel agency and Thai Airways had kindly given her 3 tickets for tmr's private screening! YIPPPEE! If you remember my entry about The Harry Potter Craze, you will know that I am really a BIG fan! From books to magazines, poster, newspaper articles, toy figurines etc... hahaha.

I am just so thrilled to be watching it tomorrow! :) My sister went to check it out and said that its really good seating as we are 4th row from the back with only 11th rows in total! Currently Joannateo and I will be watching it and we are looking for ONE MORE! hahaha! Jiahao is having CG so he can't join us :( Anyway EXCITING HP MOVIE AWAITS US! :)

Definitely something to look forward to after school! :) YIPPEE!

Day 4 – This our final day in HK for the mission trip! That day we had 2 evangelistic services and many many got saved! Check out the pictures below!

Last Words: This marks the end of my mission trip in HK and it really had been very awesome. I learnt alot, was challenged in my thinking, was encouraged and also was greatly inspired. There were sessions that i teared in the presence of God, listening to God speak to me to encourage and lift me up...It was all too good to be exchanged for anything else and I am v thankful to be part of this whole trip :) Looking forward to more in the future! haha! :)

So for the first time, lights needed ALOT of people to support!

And the moment Ps K said "lets watch the video now" it was really hilarious to see them so anxiously switching off and on the lights at the same time!

We started day 2 really early. I woke up at 630am as the call time was 7am! But when i reached the lobby, Jiahao and I realised that we were roberted... because call time was 730am... oh man 30mins more of sleep was kind of crucial! HAHA. So anyway we travelled in batches in cabs to the meeting place for morning, afternoon and night sessions. It was a longggg day. But yet excited as this is the beginning of the sessions!!

Everyone of us had a tag, its like asia conference, even the crowd had a tag too!



Chorus Board had MAC-ised. So before the trip i was really trying to learn and adapt to it as much as i could. Thank God it was quite easy and Pro Presenter was really SO EASY!!!

During lunch, we went to this Jap restaurant that was located in the same building
I tell you...... IT WAS SUPERRRR NICEEEEE!



It looks ordinary but its just soooooo niceeee!!
Its rice with pork and eggs, superrrr niceeee!!!!





After all the sessions, the crowd that's from all over HK and China had buses to bring them all back orderly.



We didnt have dinner as the change over time was rather tight, so after reaching the hotel Jiahao and I walked out to the Macdonalds to takeaway.
But we had language barrier! It was quite jialat because both of us cant speak cantonese and instead of giving us a box of 9 pieces nuggets, she gave us 6 pieces which we only realised when we left!



So environmental friendly!
But then how to drink coke?!!

HK Convention 2009 - Day 1

HK CONVENTION 2009 - DAY 1
Alright, the long awaited HK entries is now starting! I left on Sunday 530pm however the flight was delayed due to some engine problem so Brandon ( My goodie friend's husband) and I were stuck in the plane for 30mins before it finally took off. Jiahao had left on the morning flight as he had to support the session in the evening. Here's the photo entry! I didnt take much that day cause it was already almost 11pm when we reached!


Do not be deceived. The luggage seems BIG but it was only 1/2 filled!

It was a 3.5hours plane ride


We had ice cream on the plane!

In the end, we bought the HK pre paid card at 7-11!


We needed to go to the meeting place as he had sound check
And also Jiahao was waiting for me there.
And we realised.... the place was a ONE HOUR cab ride from airport


So we armed ourselves with starbucks!


And we found out that starbucks had disposable utensils! So cool man!

Finally we reached the place with a cab fare of S$68!
They charge S$1 for every piece of luggage and a surcharge as we travelled from airport.


Upon reaching the hall, i realised the setup was already done.
So Jiahao and i cabbed back to the hotel which was rather far.
Cab fare of S$23.
The whole world seems to be at 16th floor :( while faith & i were at the super end corner room of 25th floor. The entire floor was sooo dark!!!

Calvin Klein Bag!

Jiahao received his first pay and he bought me a Calvin Klein bag :) It was quite a surprise because i didnt expect it at all. He even bought sth for my parents! I think he scored enough points to last him for a few years already!!

I really like the bag alot because its big enough to put A4 file, a water bottle, an umbrella and a sweater too! And the length of the handle is just nice for me (not too long, not too short!) HEHE! The silver matches well with my black outfit (i really wear alot of black) So anyway, here's a picture of the bag!! :)

HK Updates!

HK UPDATES!

Hey guys,

Sorry for not updating! haha i wanted to update daily with lots of photos but sadly the hotel does not have free internet access. Right now i am surfing the net at the meeting place where we have our session.

So far the trip has been really awesome! Been busy busy busy! I have not really visited much of HK because its packed with sessions and its just travelling from the hotel to the meeting place back and fro. but of course if we have time we walk out to nearby to makan. The sessions here are really good! I love Dr Bernard and Ps Kong's teachings, it really challenge my thinking and renewed my mind :)

Right now i am waiting for the last session to start at 7pm and then we are done in HK here for this trip! :) I extended my stay in HK till sunday with alot of fun fun fun people so we are all excited to walk around and have a good holiday before going back to Singapore.

I won't be updating this space till i am back but do check my tweets! I will tweet when i have access to the internet! :)

Home Sweet Home!

HOME SWEET HOME!

I am back from St John Island.
* 1 day earlier than scheduled!

I took the 545pm sampan aka bump boat back and missed the camp finale! :(
* SIANNNNN! :(

Upon reaching the pier, I cabbed home to change and then to cousin's wedding!
*I missed the first dish! WASTED! hahahaha!

I drank alot of cold soft drinks at the wedding dinner.
* I felt so deprived from cold drinks in the island!!!

I asked my mum if i could order a bowl of rice at the wedding dinner.
* I really wanted to eat a proper nice meal!!

After dinner, I went Marina Barrage with my sis, Jiahao and Gisella.
* I was so near to Marina South Pier!! hahahaha!

I was so tired till i fell aslp unknowingly in the car while in a mid sentence.
*Only slpt 2hours in the camp!!! I could fall asleep while standing.

I am going to KO now.

Dream Came True

DREAM CAME TRUE

Sometime last year back, i pasted this note on my wall. At that time I think I wasnt a CGL yet. So for days and nights for the past one year, this note had been stuck on my wall for very long, and everyday i will somehow just glance and remember this thought and desire i had.

Well, this year when we had our first camp meeting at Joseph 's house, they were selecting the praise and worship team for the castaway camp. And.... I wasnt selected! :( I was abit disappointed.

But 2 Saturdays ago after our 1st camp briefing and pm at riverwalk, I was suddenly asked to join the praise team!!!!! I was just so shocked and EXCITED that i almot ran around riverwalk. HAHAHA.

So last saturday on our 2nd castaway camp pm this desire came to past! I led my first praise in our zone meeting - our castaway camp briefing and pm! And also I am one of the 4 who will be taking turns to lead praise to the 160 over people in this camp! WHOHOHO! PTL!

I've been singing alot to myself these few days! We had practice just now at aljunied's studio, and now my head is spinning with all the praise songs I am singing. I sing in my head on the bus, mrt, walking, shower etc!!! I am so excited to lead praise!!!

PS: Sorry that my blog is quite dead! Been really vvv busy with camp and other things. I will blog more after the camp and during my HK trip! Anyway I am flying off this Sunday! Whee! :)

God & His Angels

GOD & HIS ANGELS

I was hestiating to blog about this but in the end i decided to blog about the lessons i learnt to remind myself in the future of God's love and faithfulness and also to thank some special people here.

Last week, i had quite a rough week; went through a tough time. But thankfully only for 3 days and i snapped out of it. I cried alot especially when we had all 5 days of PM, i cried all 5 days. haha. To the extend that during one of the pm, my bible cover was really collecting my tears and i had to tilt one side to pour away the small puddle of tears. haha. (who doesn't cry when going through rough patch?!) Okay so anyway, its over already. hahaha. PTL!

So in these 3 days, i learnt one very valuable lesson from God and many other impt lessons from people that stood by me so closely. I am just so thankful.

I learnt that God loves me no matter what. We all know this but yet to experience it is another thing. And i really experienced it last week in such a real way. God's love for me will not change a single bit even if i fail or succeed; His love is unchanging forever.

And here i want to thank a few people or i call them angels, for really standing by me so closely in this period of time. You guys really are the hands and feet of Jesus, showing me the love of God and reality of God. I wouldnt have bounce back so quickly in 3 days time without your constant support and love.

Heres my shoutout:

Suraj or Raj, my boss. In these 2.5 months that i worked under him I am very very touched by his care, concern and love. He's always making the effort to sow and get into my life. And in this rough patch that i went through i want to thank you for giving me an off day to let me spend time alone and with God, for your affirmation, for encouraging me through smses and long edifying emails everyday to make sure i stay strong, for sharing with me your personal experience so that i can find courage to move on, giving me opportunities to gain my confidence in God again, for speaking a word into my life and guiding me out of this. You made a really huge difference, and i am so thankful to God for such an awesome boss and leader.

Edmund Tay, thank you for your smses and call to make sure i am alright. Not just a word of concern but the concern and love i felt in these 3 days made a difference. Thank you for following up on me and making sure i bounce back stronger :)

Gisella, for coming all the way down on wed night after leaders meeting at 11pm to pick me and jiahao up just to take me out for a spin and have supper. I am really touched by your effort and love to cheer me up :)

Aunty Rosalind (Jiahao's mum), for your encouraging smses and buying me my fav M&Ms in a big packet to cheer me up. I am so touched by it :)

Jiahao, how can i forget to thank him. ha ha. Thank you for your big huge packet of cheese twisties and telling me i am still who i am in your eyes.

To end this entry, I just want to say i am so glad I learnt a valuable lesson about God's love, and also got inspired to love and encourage people just like how these wonderful people had loved and stood by me. God is good all the time; the bad and good times.

Once again its the time of the year for our ET youths to have our highlight of the year!!! And its none other than our ET YOUTH CAMP!!!! This year we are doing it VERY VERY differently from any other camps we had before! Because we are having our camp offshore at St John's Island!! (Hence the name Castaway) Its really AWAY as the last ferry leaves at 2pm and we are all going to spend our 3D2N together in 1 Island!!!! How cool is that...... its like the tv serial LOST. HAHAHA. but just that we are gg to be lost in fun fun fun and in God's presence! :)

So to all ET Youths! Start inviting your friends for a BLAST during the June holidays!

On Tuesday, Juslin surprised me by giving me a Giraffe Toy that she and Seth bought for me in their latest Korea mission trip! I was seriously so touched!!! They really made my day especially when i wasnt feeling very on top of my world that day. Their thought and gesture really surprised me and touched me deeply. I totally loveeeee the giraffe toy! Its ultimate cute to the max! There are 4 different animals and joanna got a donkey! HAHA! Its really funny!!!

The reason why he held it at action thearte is because there's a stage and he wanted to have a gig like party. Weeyang and I rushed down from SOS part 1 but we still missed the gig! But nevertheless we had a good time of fellowship with my sec school friends whom i haven seen for ages!!

Last Friday was my off day (yayy). As mentioned in previous entry, Jiahao and I finally went to the exhitbition! It was really a good and enriching time spent! We felt like tourists because alot of the people inside were tourists! I really had alot of fun learning about Emperor Kangxi and viewing the artefacts as well :) It was funnnnn and interesting!

I thank God its thursday because my work ends on thursday! HAHA. Monday - Thursday! I start the week early and have friday off to prepare for CG and whatever that is needed for weekends :)

The month of May is coming to an end, and so far I have attended 4 birthday parties and another one tmr. Total 5 21st birthday parties for this month. This is what happens when you hit 21 because ALL your sec school and poly friends all have 21st bday partiesssss. And you see the same group of friends for at least 10 times a year because of that. hahaha. Will post the photos up soon!

I am going to the KangXi Exhitbition at ACM tmr with Jiahao. FINALLY we are going. Been wanting to go ever since i saw the news on the papers. I love history and i get really excited when Ps Kong shares historical stories like Emperor Kangxi, Paul at Areopagus and many more! For those who are interested in the Exhitbition, it ends on 14 June! So hurry!!! Will update on the trip to museum soon! :)

ANYWAY........ I am going for the Hong Kong Convention on 28 June! WHEEEE!!! I will be going to do chorus board there and its fully paid for!! I am so excited! I've been really dying to go missions because my first mission trip to Taiwan for 2 months was also my last mission trip! Soooooo I am just vvvvvvv EXCITED for HK! Bonus: Joannateo & many wonderful people will be going too! Yippee!

Okay I am going to bed now. Long day of museum, SOS and bday party and not forgetting a v early morning Recee at St John's Island on Saturday!!!!

I just came back from Dr Niko's meeting and if you were supposed to be there but you werent, you really miss it big time!!!!!

I was so tremendously impacted by the entire meeting!

Besides the awesome praise and worship, Dr Niko's faith inspiring preaching and the laying hands, the super super main highlight of it all was that God really spoke to me tonight and gave me a specific word and direction that made me wept and touched and blew me away. You got no idea how rhema it is! HAHA! Its like the words in the bible came alive and ate me up!!! ITS SO WOW!!!!

I am sooooo super ALIVE now that I cant sleep!!!!
(I am considering to wash the clothes now cause i really am too excited to sit still, whastmore to slp!!)

I am just so excited like really really excited!!!!!

Movie Outing - Angels & Demons

On Thursday, which was my last day of vacation, Jiahao and I brought my youngest brother DW out to vivocity for a movie treat. We had 3 free GV movie tickets so we were looking forward to spending it on a good show! Angels and Demons was definitely on our top choice because we've been hearing how good the show is going to be and I myself is a big big fan of the book which i read 2 years back! Do catch the movie if you have not! I highly recommend it! :)

I absolutely adore Dempsey :) Its my favorite chill out place. On Friday night we had the car so i was there to eat ice cream with Jiahao, it was our 1st time at the outlet there. Besides the crowd, i really like the way the design of the place; its spacious, cool and a fun place to just eat ice cream and have a fun night :) Enjoy the photos!

A Good Break

A GOOD BREAK

"What are you up to recently?"

Well I ended my exams last thursday and declared myself a 1 week holiday before i go back to work. It was a really much needed holiday to relax, recharge and rejunevate.

I treasured this one week break alot because once i resume work tmr, there goes the luxury of afternoons doing whatever i want and also work will always be at the back of my head even if there is or isnt any work on hand. So i really thank God that i had a really good and fruitful break to feed my soul with the things i love doing :)

So in this 1 week I had...

1. Watched 3 movies - Wolverine, Taken & Angels and Demon!
2. Ate at Kuishin-bo.
3. Chilled out at Timbre.
4. Went to a birthday party.
5. Went to East Coast Park to cycle.
6. Walked around Vivocity, Suntec, Marina Square, Millenia Walk, Funan Mall, Raffles City, Fareast, Wisma & Takashimaya
7. Brought mr potato to repair (finally)
8. Brought DW out! :)
9. Caught up with June! :)
10. Did alot of vistations.
11. Spent quality time with family & Jiahao.
12. Cooked dinner (2 dishes + a soup)

And one of the best part of this break was also that Gisella was out of town! So Jiahao and I had the car to ourselves for 6 days! - last friday till yesterday! :) It was a bonus because we drove around to wherever we were heading to and it was just great to be so easily accessible to anywhere :)

Its back to work tmr! I tell myself when i go back i want and need to be more sharp, more excellence in my work yet efficient at the same time, super productive, very very very meticulous, practice on the gift - word of knowledge, accurate on my discernment, able to think 1 step ahead, a strong mind to take the darts, and a big heart to absorb whatever learning experiences :)

Enough said, i am off to catch some sleep and start the day early tmr!

Recently, my brother DW and sister Shixian had been spending some good quality time together! Some nights before we sleep, DW will come over to our room to talk and laugh. There was one night where we all laughed like crazy because we were watching some random thailand's tv commercial. We had a really good laugh at some! Here's one that made us all LOL! Enjoy! :)

Last Saturday, I went out with the guys to Timbre @ old school. The guys wanted to have a post birthday celebration for Jiahao which they also had already celebrated for him on Monday at Shokudo and Saizeriya. HAHA double the celebration! Anyway it was a fun fun fun night, alot of laughing and gaming on lucas' itouch. It was really a good night spent with them! Awaiting for the next one with weiwen back with us, he wasnt there because he injured his back!

Orchids for Mummy!

HAPPY MOTHERS' DAY
On Mothers' day, my siblings and i got a pot of very tall orchids for my mum. She's a absolute plants (esp orchids) lover. Her hobby of planting and taking care of orchids begin 7 years back, and my house corridor is full of pots of big and small orchids. She loves it so much and would even talk to them and asked them to grow faster. The past weeks of thunderstorms in the middle of the night had not only caused my mum to wake up and closed all the windows but also opened the door and check on her precious plants to see if they are withstanding the storm. hahaha. thats how much the plants mean to her.

So the new pot had really put a smile on her face. She re arranged her entire collection just to integrate the new pot. hahaha. anyway HAPPY MOTHERS' DAY mummy! I LOVE YOU!

Jiahao's Birthday Surprise!

**I had this plan in mind for almost 2 months!
Day of execution: His birthday eve (last sunday night!)
That sunday was also Daniel and Shan's wedding
Plan: Go back after wedding to cook and prepare for the surprise
But......... alot of unexpected situations happened
I will tell you what happened together with photos!

Wee Yang (my sec sch buddy) was supposed to pick jing (my bestie in sec sch), shixian and i at 845pm from my house to vivocity to collect the cake and get other miscellaneous stuff. But after the wedding at about 4pm, Jiahao insisted on sending me back and hanging around my place to accompany me to study (i had a paper on tues) and also to spend time with my parents. Imagine my horror! So i did everything i could to get him to go back home! I got his mum and sister to sms him to go home which failed, i got my mum to kind of asked him to go back early TWICE.... but all failed. And he even got alittle suspicious and yet worried at why my mum kept chasing him home. And i was panicking because i do not know what to do!

So finally at 830pm, he announced that he was leaving. (YAYYY!!) The moment he went off, everyone started to help me cook! HAHA! we were running out of time, so some cut, some cooked, some packed, some mixed! we were all like ants on fire!

The cake shop closed at 10pm, and we left my house at 915pm! We hurried board Weeyang's car and he sped away! But just as we thought we could take a breather...... Jiahao called me when we were JUST about to hit the expressway.

Jiahao: "Hello! I am at tm now, i bought sth for u, later i drive over to pass u k!"
Shing: " (HUH?!?!?!?!?!!) oh wow, what is it! (trying to sound vvvvv excited!)
Jiahao: "You will know later! I call u when i am reaching ur place"
Shing: "Okay! Cant wait!" (oh my goodnesssss!)

I told weeyang, pls U TURN back and drop me off. So he made a U turn and i ran back home and change into my home clothes again! They went ahead to vivo first to get the cake and stuff while i waited for jiahao's call. Finally at 930pm, he called! I went down and meet him and this is what he got for me....

Macdonalds meal and a cheesecake!
Because i didnt have dinner (Like how am i suppose to eat just now when i was panicking and praying he go home ASAP!) he bought the cake for me so that at 12am, we can webcam and i get to sing happy birthday song and light the candle on the cake! He also got a slice for himself. HAHAHAHA!!!

After i said goodbye to him, brought the mac up, i hurried change again and took a cab down to vivo to meet the rest! They got all the stuff and we quickly make our way to the surprise place - HENDERSON WAVE! :)

Right now, you must be wondering how am i suppose to get Jiahao to come here. Well, i have already passed a birthday card to his sister Gisella and asked her to passed it to him at 11pm. So at 11pm, he will receive instructions to drive here! :)

Is the nail art pretty!?! HEHE, i absolutely adore it! Its my fav colours - black and white and guess who did it!!! Its done by.....Jiahao!
From the bottom coat to 2 layers of white to the sticker pasting to the top coat.... everything! Even the white nail polish and the base coat were bought by him! AND..... no i didnt requested it, he asked if I wanted to do my nails. Its his 3rd attempt to do for me, and each time its so nicely done! So whenever you see nail art on my fingernails, it just wouldnt be me doing because i cant get the left hand to pain the right hand properly. HAHA! I need alot of practice! So anyway, thanks dear for your patience and the pretty nails!! :)

Daniel & Shan's Wedding

DANIEL & SHAN'S WEDDING!
Last Sunday, I went to attend a wedding lunch at Marriott Hotel. It was Aunty Cynthia's Son's wedding! If you remember my old entries, Aunty Cynthia is the one who gave me a really big red packet during CNY, she is Jiahao's Mum best friend and also their family VIP. I love Aunty Cynthia to bits, more than just her generousity, its her geunine down to earth personality that i like, and she is on fire for God! :)

Anyway, her son Daniel got married and we were all invited to the wedding lunch. To Jiahao's family is like the wedding of the century! It was quite unbelievable how much they prepared (the dresses, hair, diet, nails, makeup) just for this day! Anyway they have so many guests that they had two days of wedding lunches there! Also their wedding photos are super gorgeously taken! :)

My hair is always in a tangle mess and Aunty Rosalind (Jiahao's mum) always bought me hair products (from conditioner, to hair mask, hair treatment, hair oil etc) just to get my hair properly fixed but it never seems to work so she decided to bring me to the salon to do my hair once and for all and paid for it!!! (Well partly for this wedding and partly because she cannot tahan my hair) hahahaha! :)

Anyway I watched the Star Awards just now. If you had watched, you wouldn't have miss the camera guy who walked right into the shot while the shot was LIVE! My heart almost stopped for a second! Wanted to "AH!!!!!!!!"

And I just saw jiahao's FB status with 14 people commenting on that particular scene, and no surprise that all 14 are TV/Photography/MIS people! Career hazzard!! HAHA! I think that was one of the highlights of the awards for them! HAHA!

And I love Joanne Peh! Yay she won the best actress award! :)

Okay I need to study now!! *Pulls hair* :(

STRESS

7 more days to my first paper.

1 more day of work before i take a 2 weeks exam break.

I just ranted non stop to jiahao about what happened today in details.

1. A bad start in the morning where i left my laptop at home and only realised it while i was on the train! Got to go back to take :(
2. Every every every single thing about work!
3. What i ate at lunch
4. Everything i did after work like went hospital, cooked dinner, watching tv, what tv programs i watched and what happened exactly in the show.
4. What I did after watching tv - transcript and online etc
5. Blah blah blah

....and he still patiently listens actively to me and gives me advices on what hiccups i faced today.

And the thing is after blabbering non stop, i remembered that he just got back from sch 2 hours ago (11pm) and has a 3 pages report to rush out before he is up at 6 plus in the morning for another long day in school.

So today even though i had quite a bad day, i thank God that my boyfriend is patient. I feel so much better pouring everything out about today.

Anyway to end this entry, let me share one of the advices that jiahao gives me. Its something he practices everyday even till now. He said i should not work up on the dot but wake up earlier to have a cup of drink, read the papers etc so that i am not in a rush in the morning and perhaps it will help me to stay more focus and be sharper for the day. I remembered when he first told me that he wakes up early at 8 plus every morning no matter what to read the papers or watch tv or does his work till he has to leave house (even if its 12pm and he can wakes up at 1030am or sth), i laughed at him for being quite silly, because you can use that kind of time to slp in, i mean for a night person like me i maximise the time to sleep in!

But i guess i am giving it a try tmr. Anything to make my day a better one tmr. I need all the help i can get to last thru tmr.

Okay no papers or tv, i will start my day with praying!

WEEKEND UPDATES

Its been a really long weekend

SATURDAY!
I had really good fun at our ICE-CREAM CGM! We had 10 of Easter friends that came back! PTL! And during fellowship after all the tubs of ice cream, cones and bread were gone, we played animal game! I laughed so hard till i was breathless! All of us were clapping and clapping our laps and trying not to burst out laughing before we end the game. HAHA. It was a really fun fellowship! :) And i also had my own personal breakthrough! During altar call, when i had finished giving the altar call and about to end the meeting, I suddenly felt led to give another altar call for salvation and... 3 new friends responded! PTL! :)

In the evening, I went to meet LYSB people at MIND Cafe to celebrate Stephanie Cowell's 21st birthday! Good to see the band girls again :) Waiting for photos to be uploaded from them!

SUNDAY!
We had donut party with the 3 ET JW youth grps after service! Lots of donuts of different flavours! Will update with photos soon! And anyway our CG won the $50 swensens voucher during games!!! So proud of them! Looks like another round of ice cream again! HAHA! EARTHQUAKE!!! :)

And today after AGM! Pst Tan came to speak to a group of us! It was mind-blowing. I really think pst tan is sooooooooo inspiring man! I was so captivated by his sharing! :)

After which i had dinner with a few leaders. We ate at 2nd best..... and i am so sick of the food there already even though i haven eaten there for 2 weeks. Anyway I had a good time of fellowship with the leaders, we laughed alot, talked alot and crap alot, it was a really good time! hahaha! Love the ET leaders!!! :)

Okay I am going off now.
Got to go back to work tmr to finish up some unfinished work!

Gisella's Birthday

GISELLA'S BIRTHDAY!
Gisella is Jiahao's elder sister. She is a reallllly fun person to hang out with! HAHA! With her around things always get so lively and funny. Anyway it was her birthday last week and we bought her a dog! hahaha! she is a dog lover! Last sunday when she came for the Easter service, and after that she brought me to this dog farm at Pasir Ris and we saw many cute little puppies!! They just make me go "awwwww" sooooo cute! So anyway back to the birthday..... it was great fun with the dog we bought and we had many good laughs over it :)

A Kuishin-Bo Treat!

A KUISHIN-BO TREAT!
2 weeks ago, i received a sms from Jin Lian telling me that i'm chosen to eat Kuishin-B0 for FREE! I almost jumped out of my seat! She said that someone is treating and that i will only know who this person is on the day of the treat. So on the following Monday, i went with EXPECTANCY! for the spread of jap food and also wanting to know who this mysterious person was!

So on that day, i found out that it was Alexis from Su Ting's CG! hahaha! and the thing is.... i only met her 3 times in my life and we never really talk before! haha so i was really shocked. She gave Jin Lian, Bernice and I a treat! Whohoho! I had a good time eating and also fellowshiping with them and yes i did get to know Alexis better! :)

Anyway the spread of food was FANTASTICCCCCCCCC. I have been wanting to go there a long time because Jiahao has been raving about this place for almost year and he wants me to bring him there on his bday this year. HAHA and he was so envious when i told him i am eating it for FREEEEE! hahaha! Alright, photos of that night!

So today, after an awesome CGM, i headed down to vivo and spent my saturday evening hanging out at vivocity with jiahao and also the guys i grow up with! It was a great time of eating at Carl's Jr (one of my fav fast food!) and also window shopping which made us all laughed, laughed and laughed. Below are some pictures taken today :)

Last week, Jiahao texted me that we are going to eat Sakae Sushi Buffet after our class in school. We went to eat at the new clementi shopping center outlet and had a really good time eating, laughing and talking :) Its been quite some time since we had the luxury of time to just relax and take our time to eat and walk as we've been busy with school. That day was also coincidentally one of our special 25th of the month :) Food was okay... i am not really picky as long as its edible. and i love jap food especially SALMONNNN!!! :)

Sending 3 "Missionaries"!

SENDING 3 "MISSIONARIES"!
Today W472 reached a huge milestone within our 10months together! We are sending out 3 strong willing teachable spiritual members to go over to a multiplied group to help start the new grp! I am really so sad to see them leave but yet on the positive side, its a great compliment to know that we are strong enough to give 3 members away! *BEAMS* and i tell myself that we are making space for GROWTH! :)

We had a awesome CGM today and i can really sense the faith atmosphere and members being encouraged in the situations they are facing, i had a good time leading today too! Towards the end as we had our touching speeches for the 3 of them, many just cry and cry even before we can start the 1st speech... and for me, i also couldnt control anymore when i hear how cheryl, danny and wendy gave their speeches. It was just so touchingggg! i felt so encouraged to see them growing so much in these 10months and their lives being touched by God. I am just feeling thankful that God has given me the opportunity to touch these young lives :)

Lastly, to my 3 "missionaries" - I LOVE U GUYS! JIAYOU! I believe that u all are going to rise up even more and go from glory to glory, strength to strength! :)

I stayed home the entire day today, and only stepped out of the house to mail letters. I get very depressed when i stay home the whole day.

Anyway yesterday i finally met my boss for an interview. It was 1 hour long! haha, but yet it felt really short. The whole conversation was very structured like there were an invisible points and it was more than just work topics but also about spirituality issues, the way we think, the plans ahead, some values etc. I had a good time listening to him speak and caught a few things about life.It was a fruitful time :)

So where am i working at....... hahaha i will you when i start work. HAHA. i am excited to start working!

Anyway, next week is the last week of school and then we will have our 1 month study break for exams. Time flies. And i have a project due on the last day of school - friday. So next week will be burn in school every single day. Sigh. ENDURE ENDURE ENDURE

Also, its Pastor Phil's weekend! I am so excited! I remembered when Pastor Ulf and Pastor Phil comes to town, everyone gets so excited and attends as many services as possible. So tmr, my members and i will be down for extra svcs too after CG meeting. SO EXCITING!!! Really believe that the Word will change our lives and take us up to another level :)

Alright, i am off to pack my bag for tmr and prepare to go to bed. I am going to find jiahao for breakfast tmr morning! Haven seen him for 2 days. HAHA and i miss him badly! Cant wait to see him :)

Now, there is quite a switch of roles at home. Dinner is now often done by my brother HJ (he does the collecting of clothes and ironing too) while i am now left to do the laundryyyyy :(

Every since my maid left, the laundry is mostly done up by my mum or dad (if he has the time after cleaning the kitchen etc). But she reaches home at 10pm from work and does the laundry till almost midnight. So whenever i can, i try to do the laundry so that she can have an early night. So just the other day i did the laundry for her and when she came back home she was soooo happy like she's struck the lottery! And called me a "good girl!" twice. it was quite weird hahaha but ya she was really vvvv happy.

Anyway i think i am improving, getting faster already. i took 1hr30mins today to finish everything. and yes its clean! i had to rinse it TWICE and then use the water to wash toilet. my mum nagssssss like mad if i throw it away and always asks me if i had washed the toilet with it and why cant i keep the water in the pail to wash the toilet tmr.

Anyway, is it only my family who does laundry everyday? because i hear people doing their laundry only once a week?!?!?! i cant imagine if i do it once a week. 6 people's 1 week's clothing piling up?!?! i think i will take the ENTIRE DAYYYYY man.

Anyway, its been a tiring evening, i am going to sleep soon.

OT Group

OT GROUP!
We finally handed up our OT (Organisational Theory) project on tuesday :) We had to take a grp photo and attach it on our cover page, so we met up in school on tues morning and took photossss! But sad to say, one of our proj member wasnt ard so we had to end up doing a collage to fit everyone inside the photo nicely. We went beauty world to develop the photo and had lunch there. It was a good time of bonding as well :)

Jerb's Birthday Surprise!

JERB'S BIRTHDAY SURPRISE!
On Sunday late night, some of us went to Jerb's place to surprise her!!!! :) It started off with Sandy and mainly E99 members making Jerb play an outdoor game while the rest of the zone people who were there quickly ran up her house to hide for part 2 of the surprise :) We had fun eating cake, playing treasure hunt, watching jaychou dvd!!! and lots of talking and laughing!

Physically Tired!

PHYSICALLY TIRED

I am exhausted.

I did two pails of laundry today.
Can you imagine HAND washing 6 people clothes?!
SO MUCH CLOTHES!!!

I went to jog with jiahao just now.
3.2KM without stopping.
And the last time i jogged was 2 years back.

I am almost dead on the floor.

I think today's exercise is enough to last me for another 2 years.
HAHAHA.

Unite 2009!

UNITE 2009

Monday was the start of our subzone chalet/camp - Unite 2009. You've probably read it off my tweets here and there. So here's a short entry about it. :)

Firstly, I just want to thank God for Seow Shi. She's probably the best planning partner i can ever ask for. For the past 3 weeks, we've been on the phone for late nights planning, going to recee in the night (and almost getting lost and many mosquitoes bites!), meeting up to run through all the details, smsing each other every single day with at least 20 smses to talk about all the planning and solving all the crisis together. She is always on the ball and constantly taking ownership of the chalet and i am just glad that throughout this whole period, we've grown closer too :)

Its also been a challenge to run this chalet and put it up for the subzone. I was so pressed for time to do my WIL 2 and LM project and the chalet planning just gets so much and we had to really think and think of all the possible scenarios that could happen and provide solutions. And the execution part was also SIONG. Seow Shi and I were so worried about the execution part because we had ZERO manpower because our connect grp leaders were the team leaders for the chalet and there are limited things they can help us out on. But thank God we outsourced and managed to have enough manpower! - Delphine, Jin Lian, David, Ravi, Lester, Yan Ming, Eugene, Darren, Joycelyn. For really helping us out and making this whole thing possible.! You guys are really very much appreciated :) THANK YOU!

Also, I had my chance to preach and minister to the people on the first night. I was really very nervous, excited and thankful for the opportunity! It was really a good experience and exposure for me and i am glad God was there guiding me and also for Jin Lian who really was there for me encouraging me when i was on the verge of breaking down while preparing my sermon in just a span of 4 hours left. Thank you Jin Lian :) and for also taking time off to come and lead worship that night too :)

And besides that, i can really see the people being more united after the chalet! Especially my CG W472 - TEAM SUM! haha! Such a creative name dont u think? :) The unity, loudness, enthusiasm, excitment and good attitude displayed throughout really encouraged me and i see alot of them stepping out and rising up to the occassion and i am sooo PROUD of all of them! :) You guys ROCKKKK! :)

All in all, I am just so glad that the whole chalet turns out so well. Looking at how the members encountered God in such an intimate way and the fire of God burning stronger in their hearts, it was all worth it. And all glory to God, for making this whole chalet such a successful one! :) PTL!

After watching the korean drama i mentioned 2 months back, i have been watching this cantonese drama! ITS SOOOOO EXCITING! It was introduced by my sister and i actually started watching it halfway at about episode 12 to 16 while she was watching it at home. So i decided to then stop at 16 and start from episode 1. And alot of thanks to my dear boyfriend jiahao! for again converting all 30 episodes for me overnight and many days so that i can watch it on the psp :) I love u dear! :)

This drama is about the old china palace days where concubines fought and plot and a whole mess of love tangles. I heard that its a really popular show 2 years back! haha i am abit lag. I know delphine loves this show too! And i absolutely love it too!!! I am at episode 28 now! 2 more to go! I cant bear to finish watching it!! :(

Well, for the past few weeks in CHC, we have been hearing that our super cool funky pastor Kong has got a facebook account!!! Wah seh, i was really "WOW" He flies around SOOOO much and yet has the time to manage his FB!! I was so excited to add him and read on his updates! It was so cool to see him as one of my "friends" in FB. hahaha!

Membership Promotion Day

MEMBERSHIP PROMOTION DAY!

SO EXCITED!

I remembered that when i was promoted to MM in 2006, i was sooo nervous and scared that i will trip and fall while i was on my way out to the table in front! HAHA!

Well even though i was promoted to be a CGL in Sep '08 but still..... its exciting you know to just hear your name being called out and going to the front to sign the paper and get prayed for!!! :) :) :)
